In a bowl, combine ¼ cup of apple cider, ½ cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of ketchup, 1 packet of dry onion soup mix. Pour over the pork and make sure it is well coated. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until you can pull the pork apart with a fork. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and remove the fat. Now simply shred with a fork. Serve the meat on crispy rolls with coleslaw. Yum!
BBQ chicken wings
You can't watch football without chicken wings. Here's an incredibly easy recipe for BBQ chicken wings that will wow all your guests! Put 1 kg of chicken wings (or chicken thighs) in a large bowl and add ½ cup of all-purpose flour and 2 tablespoons each of paprika and chili powder. Mix well then add 1 tablespoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and ½ cup of olive oil. Combine until the chicken is completely coated. Fry the chicken wings in oil for 10 to 15 minutes on medium until they are golden brown. Remove the wings from the oil and place them in a large clean bowl. Drizzle BBQ sauce on top until they're completely coated. Serve with ranch dressing and crudités.

Nachos are the ultimate classic dish for a game-day party! Our recipe features a small twist that will please everyone and make this recipe even more affordable! Pour the contents of a bag of nachos onto a baking dish. Cover them with about 500 g of shredded cheese and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 230 °C (450 °F). Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle some diced tomatoes and ½ cup of sliced black olives on top. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream in the middle, ½ cup of chopped cilantro and drizzle the juice of one lime evenly over the nachos. Serve with salsa and guacamole. Even meat lovers won't be able to resist!

Cocktail wieners are always a winner! They're easy to make and guests adore them. In a baking dish, combine ½ cup of honey, 3 tablespoons of chopped garlic, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and one 250 g pack of cocktail wieners. Cut 8 slices of bacon in three. Roll one strip of bacon around each wiener and insert a toothpick into it. Place the wieners on the dish and coat them with the honey sauce. Cook in the oven at 205 °C (400 °F) for 8 to 10 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked. Enjoy!

Homemade guacamole is a recipe that your guests will love and doesn't take much preparation! Take 3 ripe avocadoes, a diced tomato, ¼ of a roughly chopped onion and mash everything with a fork. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle the juice of half a lime on top. Mix and serve with nachos.
football cheeseball
No matter who wins the game, this cheeseball will definitely be scoring points!
- 2 bricks cream cheese (250 g each)
- 1 cup Selection shredded cheese
- ½ cup Selection mayonnaise
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- ½ cup parsley, chopped
- 2 cups mini pepperoni slices
- ½ cup Selection 14% sour cream
- Crackers of your choice
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, Selection mayonnaise, scallions, garlic, and parsley.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Then shape the mixture into a football and place on a large dish.
- Cover with slices of pepperoni.
- To create the stitches, fill a piping bag with sour cream and draw the lines on the football. If you don’t have a piping bag, simply cut a corner of a plastic sandwich bag.
- Finally, spread some crackers around your football. You don’t have to wait until kickoff to dig in!

- Chips of your choice (2 or 3 bags)
- 2 cups Selection salsa
- 2 cups homemade guacamole (see the recipe above!)
- ½ cup Selection 14% sour cream
- Place a rectangular dish atop a larger rectangular platter.
- Fill the edges of the larger platter with chips – representing the stadium seats.
- The smaller dish represents the field: fill it with guacamole in the centre (field of play) and salsa on both ends (end zones).
- To trace the yard lines, fill a piping bag (or a sandwich bag with a corner cut) with sour cream and draw the lines on the field.
