Like passion fruit, granadilla contains seeds, but the pulp is often juicier, clearer and less acidic. Avoid fruits that are still green. Squeeze the granadilla lightly. A slightly soft, slightly tender skin is a good indicator of ripeness. It will also give off a sweet, aromatic fragrance.
